Recently, 10 members of Congress have requested that Washington Redskins team owner Dan Snyder to consider changing the name of the NFL team, due to the potential offensiveness among Native American groups. Snyder has vowed to never change the name. 

The Redskins are not the only team or mascot that references Native Americans.
