More Pushback on Polis

Add Logan County Colorado to those who are pushing back on Gov. Jared Polis' proclamation declaring March 20 as a no meat day. Logan County Commissioners have declared March 20 at "Cattlemen's Day".

"The commissioners’ proclamation, Resolution 2021-7, cites the importance of agriculture to Logan County and to Colorado, citing a Colorado Department of Agriculture report that Logan County is the state’s third-largest agricultural producing county.

The resolution also takes a direct shot at Polis’ support for MeatOut, saying the commissioners “express their concern that the Governor of Colorado would call for a boycott, even of one-day duration, of an industry that is key and essential to both our local and state economy …”
