Jason Glassberg talked with us on KCOL Mornings to discuss internet safety. It's a hot topic lately, especially because "Heartbleed" has been in the news lately. If you don't know what it is, listen to the segment. Because Microsoft is no longer keeping us safe from Internet Explorer, Jason gave us some tips to keep us safe from viruses.
1. Change your browser- use Mozilla or Google Chrome instead
2. Use anti-virus software such as Norton. It might cost a little bit yearly, but it's worth it. Much cheaper than buying a new computer!
3. With "Heartbleed" on the loose it's important you change ALL your passwords. Any password you have, it has to be changed. Which reminds me... I need to change mine!
