I'm the social one. I talk on the radio in the morning, I meet people, get to go places and try new things.  I love it.  But as an extrovert, I have needs too!.  I love this article from thoughtcatalog.com which gives us 6 things that every extrorert secretly have to deal with.  And here they are...

1. People will often assume you're flirting.

I'd say they are right.  I can't even begin to tell you how man people thought I was flirting.  I'm a touchy person.  I'll touch someones arm sometimes or a shoulder.  Flirting? People think so.

2. You're not allowed to be sad.

We extroverts have feelings too! Come on! If we are having a bad day, let us.  More than likely we will bounce back soon!

3. You're expected to keep the conversation going.

The worst thing is sitting around a table with a bunch of introverts that probably don't want to be there anyway and trying to keep a conversation going.  OR, interviewing someone who isn't any good at answering questions.  Extroverts are always expected to keep the party going an to keep the conversation going.  Give us a break sometimes!  Maybe I'll just sit quietly in the group next time and see how awkward it is.

4. Being labeled as shallow or unintellectual because you're not an introvert.

I get it.  It's that blonde chick type thing.  Blondes are giddy and outgoing and...well... not always the brightest.  But that doesn't mean extroverts are! We are smart and (some) are not shallow!  We just like to flaunt our energy and love for life!

5. Craving the company of others.

Yes, we like to be around people.  Why is this so wrong?

6. People assuming you are always confident.

Would you believe me if I told you that someone can have low self-esteem, depression or maybe they lost a loved one but are still good at looking confident?  It's true.  Someone can LOOK confident, sound confident and act confident but be going through some tough stuff.
