Campus Reform, a website that "exposes bias and abuse on the nation's college campuses" sent their editor-in-chief, CSU Alumnus Caleb Bonham, out on the streets to ask people if they would donate to the "Hilary Clinton Dead Broke Politicians Fund."
The fund is a tongue-in-cheek reference to Hilary Clinton's comments during an interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC News. Clinton said that when she and Bill left the White House, they were "dead broke." It should be noted that as the Clintons left the White House in 2001, Hillary secured an $8 million dollar book advance for her memoir Living History, and the couple charges $200,000 each for speaking engagements.
Bonham asked student reactions to Hillary's comments and asked if they wanted to donate to the fund. About $5 was collected and sent to Hilary's home in Washington, DC. Watch the video below:
