Flying back home from a weekend in California, I managed to tune in to the Season Finale of "American Idol". While watching, I recalled the days when Simon Cowell was a judge on AI. He was brutally honest and a great scout of talent.
Most folks only think of Simon from most recent spot on "America's Got Talent" - or perhaps "X-FACTOR", but he made his television star in the early days of American Idol. So let me confess . . . I miss Simon on American Idol. When he left American Idol, I thought I would have been the perfect replacement. Sadly, no one called to offer me his seat. I still available should someone call.
Oh, and big congratulations to Chayce Beckham for the big win tonight!
