The Islamic holy month of Ramadan ends this evening. The Muslim celebration of Eid al-Fitr is the following day. It's the festival celebrating the breaking of the fast. Muslims will gather for prayer on the morning of the first day. Depending on the country, celebrations may include prayers outside, in mosques or large halls. Following prayers, Muslims will wish those around them a happy Eid before visiting relatives, friends and possibly grave sites. Giving gifts of money to kids, donating to charity and sweets are also common ways to celebrate.
