Are Greeley's License Plate Readers an Endorsement of "BIG BROTHER"?

Greeley, Colorado is using technology to scan license plates as you drive down the streets of Greeley. In April 2019 alone, the technology scanned almost 600,000 plates.

While Greeley has identified some stolen vehicles, some stolen license plates, and some drivers with suspended driver's licenses . . . but the ACLU says this technology has the capability of tracking drivers to know where they have been and where they are going.

What say you? Are you ok with your license plate being scanned at anytime and the "government" knowing where you are?

BIG BROTHER or GOOD USE OF TECHNOLOGY TO CATCH BAD GUYS?
