Over the past 8 months of COVID-19 crisis, I've spoken often about "unintended consequences" of the quarantines & shutdowns. Growing drug/alcohol addiction & overdoses, mental health problems, and skyrocketing calls to 'suicide hotlines . . . all can be attributed to the anxiety and isolation we have authorized in the name of "public health" .
This developing story is just another heartbreaking consequence. Senior Citizens in Greeley, Colorado are protesting Gov. Polis' ongoing restrictive edicts. These seniors held signs that said, "I'd rather die of COVID than loneliness.
