Corhuskers Lose Season Opener To Ohio State 52-17

The Cornhuskers total rushing attack wasn't enough to defeat the Buckeyes this past Saturday. Nebraska gained a total of 217 rushing yards, which 164 of those yards came from quarterback's Adrian Martinez and Luke McCaffery. They also put together 167 yards through the air. However Ohio States QB, Justin Fields, was more accurate in his attack, only having one incompletion in the game. The Cornhuskers really let the game get way from them in the second half due to a turnover leading to a touchdown and the OSU offense scoring another 3 touchdowns while the only points put on the board from Nebraska was a field goal.

Nebraska is scheduled to go against Wisconsin on 10/31.
