We started with 15 days to flatten the curve, then it was Gov. Polis declaring a "disaster" and claiming all kinds of executive power for 30 days . . . then another 30 days . . . . then another . . . . and another . . . and almost a year later, here we go again. HEADLINE: "Gov. Jared Polis extends state disaster declaration another 30 days".
Why? The State Legislature is back in session. They were elected for a reason. They do have a part in governing the State of Colorado.
Why does Gov. Polis need to keep declaring "disaster". Me thinks he might like his "executive power" a bit too much!
