"MAYDAY! MAYDAY!" Those were the words from the pilot to the DIA control tower shortly after the plane had taken off towards Honolulu. The photos & videos tell the rest of the story as to how scary this situation was. Fortunately, the plane safely returned to DIA and no one was injured.
I've traveled around the globe and logged plenty of frequent flier miles. I've had bumpy rides and one in 2019 where we had to return to airport because an engine was "malfunctioning". We landed safely but the airport had firetrucks & emergency vehicles lined up "just in case". Even so, what happened over Colorado this weekend is the most incredibly frightening thing you can imagine.
What's been your scariest moment on a flight?
