Hasbro Toys has created some confusion. They are removing the "Mr." from the box for "Mr. Potato Head" but said the characters will still exist "inside the box". Whatever it means, GLAAD, an LGBTQ activist group is happy.
“Hasbro is helping kids to simply see toys as toys, which encourages them to be their authentic selves outside of the pressures of traditional gender norms,” said Rich Ferraro, GLAAD’s chief communications officer, in a statement.
What did Mr. Potato Head due to "tick off" the WOKE crowd? Was he exuding some type of toxic potato masculinity? Was he manspreading? Is there seriously someone who walked the toy aisle and was offended he was a MISTER? If toys now need to be gender neutral, G.I. Joe will need to be renamed G.I. Pat.
