In a story written by Matt Sebastian from the Daily Camera, he explains the Colorado ties that the Eagles have to this awesome state of ours. In 1971 they were paid $100.00 to play 5 nights at the Tulagi on Boulder's University Hill. The promoter of the show would go on to become a legend in the music industry, Chuck Morris. At the time, Chuck was a Student at the university of Colorado; and this was his first shot at promoting a show. Chuck is now the CEO of AEG PRESENTS ROCKY MOUNTAIN AND NORTHWEST REGIONS, which is one of the most well known concert promoters in the United States.
