From Spike Lee getting political, to Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga performing on the stage, the Oscars seemed to be have an “I don’t care” feel to it. The lingering question is do we really care? The push to be so political, and do nothing but bash on politicians including our President has been such a turn off for any reason to watch in the last few years. It used to be an ok thing to tune into once a year, but between all of the political correctness, political bashing, and self-righteous people preaching at us, it makes it almost unbearable to watch. It is kind of like the NFL, it used to be an escape, now it is a main platform.
