Have Coloradans become "Soft" when it comes to the weather?

Massive Winter Storm Brings Snow And Heavy Winds Across Large Swath Of Eastern Seaboard

Don't mistake it, there is always a concern for when bad weather rolls into our great state, but have we made it pussified? As Jimmy Lakey Referenced this morning on the show, when he first moved here, there was no such thing as a "Bomb Cyclone" or "Polar Vortex". It was not until recently, that people have made it "the end of the world" type of storm, for every storm that seems to come Colorado's way. I (Sweet Petals) am a native of Colorado and have been through Blizzards in the 90's 2000,s and now the 2010's and never heard of a "Polar Vortex" or Bomb Cyclone" until this year. I remember when it was just called weather...

What do you think, have we gone too far in making these storms to be bigger than they are?

To hearn what Jimmy had to say about this, listen to the Lakey Effect Podcast on iHeartRadio.
