After Michael Bennet and Jason Crow made things overly political at the STEM vigil, the students walked out! What was supposed to be a way to remember and honor Kendrick Castillo, who helped stop the shooting, but ultimately lost his life in doing so. Jason Crow sent a message out on ">Facebook that thoughts and prayers aren’t enough, while the shooting was still going on! There is a time and place to be [political about things, but while an event is still going on?!?!!? The other thing that needs to be addressed and I am happy the Kids at STEM took a stand; Michael Bennet and Jason Crow using this situation for what seems to be their own political gain… Completely unacceptable! Good for the kids for taking a stand, and not letting Politicians use them as pawns.
