Jared Polis Signs Off On Insulin Price Cap In Colorado

Governor Jared Polis did a great thing yesterday! We don't always agree with what is going on in the most recent legislative session, but this is such great step in the right direction! If you do not know someone who has diabetes, or if you don't have it yourself, you would not understand how expensive it is to have this disease. From insulin, to test strips, to going to the doctor, and that is only a few of the very expensive parts of this disease. This is so great; there is finally something being done to help people who did not make the choice to be diabetic. I am a diabetic, so I know in full how great this is! I am very happy about this, but I also want to see help for anyone who has a genetic disease. People who are diagnosed with any genetic disease should never be held captive by pharmaceutical companies; especially for something they did not do to themselves. This is a nonpartisan issue, and whether you hate or love our current administration in Colorado, you have to applaud Governor Polis for this!
