Jimmy Lis taking this morning: Is it ok for teachers to tell students how they lean politically? Jimmy said on the show this morning, "I never knew how my teachers leaned politically." When I (Sweet Petals) was in school, I never knew how my teachers leaned, it was all about academics then. I now know how some of them feel, because i have stayed in touch, but I never knew then. I was never swayed on how I should lean. That is the way it should be (in my humble opinion). Kids shouldn't be persuaded on who they like because that is who their favorite teacher likes... Anymore though, they is a lot of that going on, especially how many people claim to not like the Trump administration. Part of the division in this country starts there in the classroom, I think that it is great to teach politics, but don't preach politics.
